Illustrative SBA payment and DSCR
Numbers stay in your browser. This is a payment sketch, not a lender quote.
Methodology
Monthly payment is a standard amortizing payment from principal, annual rate, and term. Annual debt service is twelve payments. DSCR is annual cash flow (SDE or EBITDA you type) divided by annual debt service. SBA 7(a) can finance a change of ownership with a published maximum of $5 million. This sketch does not apply guarantee fees, seasonal payment structures, or a lender’s floor.
Numbers never leave the browser. There is no account, no save, and no data collection. Outputs are educational sketches for a conversation with Jason Taken — not appraisals, not lender quotes, and not offers.
3.38 average earnings multiple on grocery/supermarket businesses sold on BizBuySell in 2025. SBA 7(a) can finance a change of ownership; the published maximum is $5 million. | Topic | Grocery reading | Link |

| Stockroom | Inventory at cost | inventory |
| EBT | New owner application | SNAP |
| Debt | DSCR on the recast | DSCR |
Illustrative, not a quote. For a SBA 7(a) Payment & DSCR Calculator, recast SDE of $363,937 at 1.65×–3.23× plus $129,845 inventory at cost frames a going-concern band of about $730,341 to $1,305,362. The 2.60× midpoint lands near $1,076,081. Lease remaining term and license lag can move the check more than the multiple.
